…and after that, it snowed…this is what November looks like in northern Vermont.
My photo shoot with the Clearing, as she struts her stuff in her latest winter finery, another smashing
Mother Nature original:
There’s a kind of hush…
Pastel blues and whites become her.
Trees out-fitted in delicate lace.
Our beloved little port in the storm.
Black-and-white and red all over.
My little writer cabin, looking as if it might soon be swallowed whole.
The abominable snowman a few days ago — while the accumulation was still mere child’s play — stopping for a quick pose with his beloved machine (and new best friend).
Back to business — gotta clear the way for the next onslaught. (And the next, and the next…)
Gazing from inside my warm, cozy snow globe, out into another breathtaking winter world.
Paradise
Yes.
Lovely! Landed me right smack in the realm of nostalgia for past times. Thank you so very much.
Ahhh…you are welcome.
Thank YOU.
A Winter Wonderland.
Beautiful pictures, so crisp & clean,
Images of a wintery scene.
Blanketing what was so recently green,
And is now a childhood Christmas dream!🎄🎅
You’re poet and do’t know it.
Patti, some of the pictures remind me of Alaska when we went out to visit Carol Kaynor after Adam and Kori’s wedding. It really is magical and breathtakingly beautiful.
You’ll be here soon…
Lovely to see. Know the moment I say, been there done that we’ll get dumped on. As if Mother Nature is laughing….ahhh hahahah, you thought you could escape from Northern Vermont to Southwestern Colorado…… “I’ll get you my pretty.”.
Beautiful to see….don’t miss it . Have fun you and “The Snowman”. <3
Ha!
Say, Patti, I think I may have dropped a nickel somewhere just outside the door of the writer’s cabin. Can you go out there and check on that for me?
I meant to give you back that nickel this past Sunday. Shoot. Is interest accruing?
